Hannah is a 23-year-old Ugandan female currently studying at Muni University, Arua, Uganda. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Sciences with subjects of specialization in Mathematics and Chemistry. At the moment, she is undergoing industrial training at Yumbe District Local Government, where she was placed in the Department of Education to manage Educational Statistics. By the end of the training, she will transition to her third year, the final year for the programme, from August 2026. Curious to understand systems and basically how things work, she chose to major in mathematics, which she believes will sharpen her skills and mind to satisfy that desire. However, she still hopes to continue learning and practicing chemistry; for example, she recently received a grant with her friends for a chemistry-based project that aims to produce anti-malarial soap from locally sourced materials. Besides math and chemistry, she interns as an administrative assistant at Muni Labs, a non-governmental organization that seeks to enhance healthcare capacity in rural Uganda, and serves as the chairperson for the Christian Union at Advent of Christ Chapel, Muni University. She is also a former Guild Representative Councilor (GRC) for the Faculty of Science. In her free time, she loves to sing in the chapel choir and play netball and chess.
