Schlumberger Foundation: Faculty for the Future program

Women scientists and engineers from eligible low- and middle-income countries who are pursuing PhD or postdoctoral research in STEM can now apply for the Schlumberger Foundation’s Faculty for the Future program.

The program supports women in STEM who are pursuing advanced research abroad and are committed to using their knowledge and experience to contribute to their home countries.

Applicants must have applied to, been admitted to, or already be enrolled at a recognised university or research institution abroad.

To apply, you must:

  • Be a woman from an eligible low- or middle-income country.
  • Be pursuing a PhD or postdoctoral research in a STEM field.
  • Be enrolled, admitted, or have applied to a university or research institute abroad.
  • Have an excellent academic record.
  • Be committed to returning to your home country to contribute to its socio-economic development.
  • Demonstrate leadership, community engagement, and a track record of encouraging women and girls in STEM.

If you are a woman in STEM planning or pursuing doctoral or postdoctoral research abroad, this is one to look into early and prepare for carefully.
