The search is on for a dynamic Postdoctoral Fellow to work within one of the 14 research centres located across Canada. The research centres span a broad spectrum of activities and enable researchers and partners to advance research and accelerate commercial development that leads to scientific breakthroughs and innovation. Interested candidates from any science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline can submit their fellowship research project for consideration.
The chosen candidate would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect, and Creativity. NRC Luise and Gerhard Herzberg Fellows are hired for a 2-year term and undertake leading-edge research activities in one of the fields of NRC research centres. The successful candidate will:
Conduct original research independently and in collaboration with one of the 14 research centres located across Canada.
Contribute to the scientific utilization of NRC resources, particularly, but not limited to, the expertise of scientific and technical staff, and the facilities and infrastructure of the NRC.
Engage with the research community to further NRC’s mandate to advance knowledge and technology development.
Fellowships will be for two years contingent on satisfactory progress achieved during the first year.
Fellows will work in a lab under the direct supervision of an NRC researcher.
