PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Eirini Eleni Tsiropoulou is looking for two fully-funded Ph.D. students in her lab at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of New Mexico starting in Spring 2023. The students will work under an NSF-funded project. Possible research topics include 6G Networks, Resource Management, Network Economics, and Public Safety Systems. Students from the lab work closely with the Sandia National Laboratories, the Air Force Research Labs, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Requirements: Strong math background, solid programming skills in C/C++/Python, and a strong understanding of wireless networks.
