Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at New York University

The Lab for Advanced Neuroengineering and Translational Medicine (LANTRN) at New York University (NYU) is hiring Ph.D. students to start in Fall 2023. This is a multi-disciplinary group passionate about using engineering to improve human health by developing new therapies and devices. They also have active collaborations with NYU Langone, Grossman School of Medicine, and Cleveland Clinic, as well as NYU Tandon School of Engineering and MIT. Potential students are expected to work at the intersection of engineering and medicine, with research topics flexible depending on the candidate’s background and interest.

Required Qualifications:
-M.S. in Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
-Excellent academic record
-Excellent written and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications:
-Prior experience working on a team
-Demonstrated research skills, resulting in publications.
