Flora Philip Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers

Application deadline: November 24, 2022

The School of Mathematics at The University of Edinburgh is pleased to invite applications for the 2022 Flora Philip Fellowship. This four-year Fellowship specifically supports early-career, postdoctoral researchers from backgrounds that are under-represented in the School’s academic community (e.g. gender, minority ethnicity, disability, disadvantaged circumstances, etc.). The Fellowship aims to provide a supportive and collegial environment for early-career researchers to develop their research and prepare themselves for future independent roles in academia and beyond.

All applicants should apply online submitting an up to date CV as well as a 1-page outline of a proposed research programme and an indication of the research theme within the School you wish to be associated with (see https://www.maths.ed.ac.uk/school-of-mathematics). Please also arrange for three references to be sent to references@maths.ed.ac.uk by the closing date of 24th November 2022 quoting Job Req 5463. Applications from national, international, and internal applicants are all encouraged and we welcome informal queries regarding any aspect of the Fellowship.
